May 1

The first day of the last month of spring.
I celebrate this date by posting some pictures taken on the Palm Sunday, in the little park behind my building.
Enjoy!

PS: By the way, the pictures appeared first on my other blog, so don't mind the writing. I am only making sure that no one will use my pictures and pass them as his/ her own.)

I love the one with that little lady bird:). Anyway, all the photos are exceptional! Just love it!
I want to know how it's made these photos, you know, just one detail coloured and the others just black and white. Can you tell me the secret?:)

Thank you very much!
The program I used is called "Paint Shop Pro". I just uploaded the picture; selected the "Pattern" to be the image of the picture. I clicked on the color options and reduced the picture to a black & white image. Then I selected, from "Tools", the "Eraser" and with the right mouse click I started to brush back the original color of the item I wanted (thanks to the fact that I chose the "Pattern" of the image to be the picture itself, not other color or pattern). It's not very difficult, but it is a detail-oriented process.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

You can also try "Photoshop". I am almost certain that you can get the same effect in that program.
